About The Setting
Provider Information:Grange Lane Infants became an Academy in September 2011. We accept children from the ages of 2 to 7 and are one of only a few settings in the area who cater exclusively for children in these vital early years. We understand that young children are all special, unique and talented. We believe passionately that children who feel safe, secure and happy will learn more. But we also celebrate individuality and this is what makes our academy such a successful place to grow and learn.
More than anything, our school is at the heart of the community. We are united through team work and this enables us to achieve success together. The Academy values its partnership with parents / carers and their involvement in school life is part of what makes the academy so special. We are proud to have achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award in recognition of our excellent work with parents. We know that family life can sometimes be a bit challenging, so we have a dedicated Parent Support Advisor who is here to offer support and practical advice for all our families if ever they need it.
The learning environment is very spacious and well-equipped with small class sizes, as well as a large computer suite and library. We go on many out of school visits to bring the curriculum alive as well as welcoming many visitors to the school such as musicians, artists and theatre companies. We hope prospective parents / carers will feel inspired to take the time to make a personal visit so they can see for themselves our lovely classrooms, happy children and hard-working, inspirational teachers.
