I offer Play Therapy sessions to support children who are experiencing difficulties including low self-esteem, anxiety, bereavement and family breakdown, depression, attachment problems, bullying, and peer relationship problems. Much of my work is with children who have behaviour issues that are "spilling over" into school and family life.

Play Therapy offers children the opportunity to explore their feelings and situations in their lives through the medium of play. It empowers children to cope with their problems and increases their self esteem. Play therapy can improve the emotional well being of the child. It may be used to alleviate a mild emotional or psychological problem that is preventing the child from functioning normally.

All my work is bound by a code of ethics and conducted with full clinical supervision. PTUK is the UK's largest organisation providing a professional infrastructure for Play Therapy. Full public liability and professional indemnity insurance is also held together with fully enhanced CRB checks.
