| Service Description: | Higher Rhythm provides creatively focused activities as an attractive vehicle to engage people from across local / diverse communities in a range of training and self development opportunities.
Services centre on Music / Media / Creativity, making activities accessible to all to encourage inclusion from socially / economically disadvantaged people, and we routinely work with clients ranging from young people and community learners, through to and industry professionals and regional, national and international organisations. Our Doncaster town centre facility is home to Higher Rhythm Recording Studio (a leading music service providing recording and creative training), Music Industry Yorkshire (Yorkshire’s music industry development body) several creative learning environments and Doncaster’s community radio station, Sine FM 102.6, involving around 90 weekly volunteers in the direct delivery of local media services.
We offer practical training based activities, ranging from informal tasters through to nationally recognised accredited programmes, operating under the MATRIX standard for Information and Guidance, and the ISO 9001 quality system to assure services are delivered within a framework of high standards that meet expectations of clients at all levels of ability.
Higher Rhythm is also a ‘skills ambassador’ for the National Skills Academy (creative and cultural sector skills council) and sit on the Sheffield City Region LEP, representing the creative and digital sector regionally so our services tie into local need as well as wider strategy at regional and national level.
