About The Setting
Provider Information:Fledglings day nursery is situated in Dunscroft, Doncaster and operates from a single-story building.
Children are cared for in three different rooms according to their age and stage of development. Each room has it's own outdoor area with developmentally appropriate resources and equipment.
At Fledglings we have created a warm, homely environment where every child is valued. Our core principles of cosiness, togetherness, curiosity, inclusivity and warmth are reflected across our environment and through all our interactions with children and their families. Staff and children work together to create an atmosphere of togetherness and belonging. Children’s interests are followed to provide meaningful opportunities for learning. We firmly believe in the value of learning through play and playing and exploring is prioritised throughout the nursery. Outdoor play is a cornerstone of our curriculum and all children have access to the outdoor environment every day. Books are also a key part of our curriculum and a love of reading is promoted through inviting and cosy reading areas and high quality picture books.
