Sunny Skies Academy is a registered day nursery based in the Balby area of Doncaster. We have been registered since June 2024 and provide high quality childcare for children between the ages of birth and 5 years. We are registered to deliver all early years funding entitlements from 9 months.
The setting has 3 classrooms split into ages - Little Rays - birth - 2 years, Sunbeams - 2-3 years and Sunshine's 3-5 years. We also have a sensory room in the provision. All classrooms have their own outdoor play areas attached to their rooms which offer developmentally appropriate equipment to progress each child and provide them with suitable risk and challenge activities.
As an academy we pride ourselves on the rigorous training our practitioners receive to enable them to provide exceptional care and education to all children, within our team we have degree level practitioners as well as qualified Senco's. All children will be allocated a key practitioner who will support your child's individual journey throughout the setting. |

| Local Offer (SEND): | Sunny Skies Academy is an inclusive setting with a sensory room called Bright Horizons where children can take sensory breaks, receive tailored 1-1 support or access activities in smaller groups. We have a head Senco and additional trained Senco''s within our team. We work closely with other professionals and specialist services to ensure that every child in our nursery can receive the support they need to reach their full potential. The setting is fully accessible and there is adequate reserved parking to assist with drop off and collection. |
